Abstract

ABSTRAK Penulis dalam melakukan kegiatan penelitian ini mengambil judul “Pengembangan Wisata Pantai Iboih Untuk Memberdayakan Masyarakat Pesisir Oleh Dinas Pariwisata Kota Sabang Provinsi Aceh ”. Latar belakang penulis mengambil judul tersebut adalah untuk menganalisa serta mendeskripsikan pengembangan objek wisata pantai iboih yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Pariwisata Kota Sabang serta untuk mengetahui manfaat dari pengembangan objek Wisata Pantai Iboih terhadap masyarakat pesisir yang ada di daerah wisata tersebut. Dalam kegiatan magang ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptip dengan pendekatan induktif serta menggunakan teori pengembangan pariwisata menurut Spillane dalam Sari (2011:27), sumber data yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan berdasarkan analisis data Miles dan Huberman yaitu dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengembangan objek wisata Pantai Iboih masih memiliki hambatan dan kekurangan, beberapa kekurangan didalamnya seperti masih kurangnya penyediaan Sumber Air Bersih di sekitaran pulau rubiah, akses jalan yang kerap terjadi longsor jika hujan deras dan angin kencang, dan listrik padam jika hujan dan angin kencang mengingat jalan sekitar objek wisata adalah hutan. Sehingga masih di perlukan perhatian lebih serta pengembangan potensi objek wisata Pantai Iboih lebih lanjut dari Pemerintah dan Dinas Pariwisata Kota Sabang terutama dalam menyikapi akses jalan, penyediaan Air bersih,dan listrik di objek wisata demi kenyamanan wisatawan. Serta Dinas pariwisata dan pemerintah daerah melakukan kerjasama dengan masyarakat pesisir dalam mengembangkan dan mempromosikan objek wisata pantai iboih demi meningkat pendapatan daerah dan meningkat kan perekonomian masyarakat pesisir sekitar pantai iboih. Kata Kunci : Objek Wisata Pantai Iboih Untuk Menberdayakan Masyarakat Pesisir , Pengembangan Pariwisata ABSTRACT The author in carrying out this research activity took the title "Development of Iboih Beach Tourism to Empower Coastal Communities by the Tourism Office of Sabang City, Aceh Province". The author's background in taking this title is to analyze and describe the development of the Iboih beach tourism object carried out by the Sabang City Tourism Office and to find out the benefits of developing the Iboih Beach tourism object for the coastal communities in the tourist area. In this internship the authors used descriptive qualitative research methods with an inductive approach and used the theory of tourism development according to Spillane in Sari (2011: 27), the data sources used by the authors in this study used data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation, while analysis techniques the data used is based on Miles and Huberman's data analysis, namely by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the development of the Iboih Beach tourism object can be categorized as going well, although there are still some deficiencies in it such as the lack of provision of clean water sources around Rubiah Island, access roads that often occur landslides when heavy rains and strong winds, and power outages. if it rains and has strong winds, remember that the road around the tourist attraction is a forest. So that more attention is still needed and further development of the potential of Iboih Beach tourism objects from the Government and the Sabang City Tourism Office, especially in addressing road access, provision of clean water and electricity at tourist objects for the convenience of tourists. As well as the Tourism Office and local government in collaboration with coastal communities in developing and promoting Iboih beach tourism objects in order to increase regional income and improve the economy of coastal communities around Iboih beach.
