Abstract

ABSTRACT Problems/Background (GAP): The author focuses on the problem of the low financial performance of the regional government of Padang City in the 2017- 2021 budget year. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the financial performance of the regional government of Padang City for the 2017- 2021 budget period. Method: This study uses a qualitative-descriptive research method with an inductive approach and analysis of the stages of financial performance according to Mahmudi's theory. Data collection techniques were carried out by in-depth interviews (5 informants), observation and documentation. Results: The findings obtained by the authors in the study based on the results of the ratio analysis of regional financial performance show that the City of Padang is still relatively low in supporting the implementation of regional autonomy. Conclusion: Based on the results of the ratio analysis of regional financial performance, it shows that the City of Padang is still low in supporting the implementation of regional autonomy, this is due to the high level of dependence of the regional government of Padang City on transfer funds provided by the central government. It is recommended to further increase PAD revenues for the City of Padang. Keywords: Analysis, Financial Performance, Analysis of financial ratios. ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Penulis berfokus kepada permasalahan masih rendahnya kinerja keuangan pemerintah daerah Kota Padang pada tahun periode anggaran 2017-2021. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kinerja keuangan pemerintah daerah Kota Padang tahun periode anggaran 2017-2021. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif dengan pendekatan induktif dan analisis terhadap tahap kinerja keuangan menurut Teori Mahmudi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam (5 informan), observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil/Temuan: Temuan yang diperoleh penulis dalam penelitian berdasarkan hasil analisis rasio kinerja keuangan daerah memperlihatkan Kota Padang tegolong masih rendah dalam mendukung pelaksanaan otonomi daerah. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil analisis rasio kinerja keuangan daerah memperlihatkan Kota Padang tegolong masih rendah dalam mendukung pelaksanaan otonomi daerah, hal ini dikarenakan masih tingginya tingkat ketergantungan pemerintah daerah Kota Padang terhadap dana transfer yang diberikan oleh pemerintah pusat. Disarankan untuk lebih meningkatkan penerimaan PAD Kota Padang. Kata Kunci : Analisis, Kinerja Keuangan, Analisis rasio keuangan.
