Abstract

ABSTRACT THE EFFECTIVENESS OF E-LAPORO (ELECTRONIC ONLINE COMPLAINTS SERVICE MOROWALI ASPIRATION) IN IMPROVING PUBLIC SERVICES IN DISKOMINFO MOROWALI REGENCY By : Yasril Hamsin Supervisor: Dr. Layla Kurniawati, M.pd Eem Nurnawati, SP, M.si Public service is an activity or series of activities related to meeting service needs in accordance with the applicable legal basis. This study aims to describe the means of complaints to convey criticism and suggestions as well as to simply ask for information within the scope of government, especially the Communication and Information Office of Morowali Regency which is considered quite good because the Morowali Regency Government makes and integrates IT-based complaint services with the website of the Morowali Regency Communication and Information Office. (http://diskominfo.morowalikab.go.id/). So the purpose of this research is to determine the level of effectiveness of the use of the E-LAPORO complaint service, to determine the inhibiting factors for the E-LAPORO service, and to find out the efforts to the efforts made by the Department of Communication and Information of Morowali Regency in overcoming the existing obstacles and constraints. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research methods through an inductive approach, then the data collection techniques in this study were by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used by the author is the model used by Miles and Huberman in Emzir 2012 namely data reduction, data presentation and verification/drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis, the author concludes that the enthusiasm of the public to use the E-LAPORO service is quite high, but only some people are aware of this service, so this is a challenge for the Department of Communications and Information Technology to more intensely socialize the features of this service.
