Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): This research focuses on the problem of the Child Identity Card Program which is run by the Ambon City government through the Population and Civil Registration Office to meet the needs of the community, especially children. Purpose: This study aims to determine how the implementation of the Child Identity Card program in Ambon City, Maluku Province. Method: This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method with an inductive approach, through interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. The informants of this research consisted of the Head of the Ambon City Population and Civil Registration Service, the Head of the Population Administration Information Management (PIAK) and Data Utilization, the Head of the Population Data Collection Section, the Implementing Operator and the Community. Result: The results of this study indicate that the Child Identity Card program in Ambon City has not run effectively, because in the implementation process there are still many obstacles or obstacles such as lack of facilities and infrastructure, lack of staff or implementing operators and low public awareness. Conclusion: Related to this, the authors suggest that the implementation of the program can be improved and improved so that the program can be carried out in accordance with the goals that have been set.
