Abstract

Problem Statement/Background (GAP) : The suppression of the spread of the COVID-19 virus is carried out through tightening the implementation of health protocols, but there are still many violators of health protocols, especially in the Kaliurang Tourist Area. Purpose : The purpose of this study is to analyze the Role of the Special Rescue Community Protection Unit VII in Enforcing Health Protocols in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region Province. Method : The research method used is descriptive qualitative with an inductive approach. Results : The results of the study obtained in this study are that the implementation of health protocol enforcement carried out is quite good even though there are still some obstacles in the form of the availability of human resources, low public awareness related to the dangers of COVID-19, and the lack of gassiness of officials in reprimanding violators of health protocols. Conclusion : The enforcement of health protocols is quite good. Efforts are made to overcome existing obstacles in the form of adding personnel, providing education to the community, and placing personnel in different locations.
