Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): (Contains the background behind the research). In this day and age, we live in an area of increasingly sophisticated technology, even all government affairs can be done and solved with Information Technology. Government archives are one of the government's affairs that must be preserved. South Sulawesi Province is one of the Soppeng Regency Blood Governments that manages archives through Information Technology, namely the Personnel Service Application System (SAPK). With the Personnel Service Application System, employees can store data and update it accurately. However, the problem is that there are still many employees who are not aware and do not understand about updating their own data. Objective: To find out the suitability of the implementation of personnel archive management through the personnel service application system (SAPK) at the Agency for Personnel and Human Resources Development, Soppeng Regency, South Sulawesi Province.Methode: This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with an inductive approach, where the authors obtain data by means of interviews, observation and documentation Result The Management of Personnel Archives through the Personnel Service Application System has been running quite well at the BKPSDM of Soppeng Regency. Before there was an application for the Personnel Service Application System (SAPK), employees had difficulty finding files. Meanwhile, employee files are often lost, either because they are lost, scattered, or burned. However, with SAPK, employees can easily find archives/personal data anywhere and download them. Conclusion: management of employee records/data through the Personnel Service Application System (SAPK) can make it easier for employees to store their data. Obstacles obtained are limited human resources to manage, limited facilities and infrastructure and lack of understanding of employees about managing. Efforts are made by increasing the number of management employees, adding facilities and infrastructure and increasing employee understanding about this through development.
