Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP): Administration of population administration services is always improved for the realization of effective and efficient services following the development of information technology. For this reason, innovations in population administration services are made through online services that can facilitate the service process by utilizing the whatsapp application. This innovation is specially designed so that people can print documents quickly, can be processed at any time, easily, freely and of the same standard without discrimination and can improve the quality of service for the better. Purpose: The purpose of this study was aims to find out the implementation of population administration services through whatsapp applications, especially the printing of KTP-el for the people of Tangerang Regency. Method: The research method used is a qualitative research method using three data collection techniques, namely Observation, Interview and Documentation. The theory used to analyze is the Chin and Todd theory which has four dimensions, ease, useful, increased productivity, effectiveness. Result: Based on the research that has been carried out, the authors conclude that the implementation of population administration online services through the whatsapp application is very effective and efficient because it has proven to be very helpful for officers and the public in the service process at the Department of Population and Civil Registration, Tangerang Regency. The suggestion from the author to the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Tangerang Regency is to increase more widespread socialization and improve cyber technology to overcome network barriers. Conclusion: the authors conclude that the implementation of population administration online services through the whatsapp application is very effective and efficient because it has proven to be very helpful for officers and the public in the service process at the Department of Population and Civil Registration, Tangerang Regency.
