Abstract
Problem/Background (GAP): The Family Hope Program (PKH) is one of the social protection programs in Indonesia in the form of social assistance. Purpose: To provide an explanation of data collection and validation of recipients of the Family Hope Program (PKH) social assistance in improving the welfare of the people of Pelepat Ilir District, Bungo Regency P2KB and P3A Bungo Regency. Methods: This research is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques carried out by interview, observation, and documentation techniques, then the data analysis process is carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions/verification. Results: Based on the results of research on the effectiveness of data collection on the Family Hope Program (PKH) in improving the welfare of the people of Pelepat Ilir District, Bungo Regency, there are still obstacles that make the implementation of these activities less effective.Conclusion: Experts in the field have made the implementation of PKH data collection not yet effective. The efforts of the Social Service, family planning population control, women's empowerment and child protection in carrying out roles related to the collection of hope family program data in improving the welfare of the people of Pelepat Ilir District, Bungo Regency for now are by optimizing expert human resources in the field, namely recruiting their own direct assistant officers. PKH data collection in the field to assist data collection activities and independently handle privately owned facilities owned by officers, either by using computers, laptops or cellphones which are deemed to be able to assist the task of data collection activities for the Family Hope Program (PKH) in the Pelepat Ilir District. those in the field when met by the author, mostly use privately owned facilities.
