Abstract
Problem/Background (GAP): The Open Data Program is a public service program whose management is under the authority of the Department of Communication, Information, and Statistics in providing information disclosure services to the public. One of these programs is also implemented in Semarang Regency based on Regent Regulation No. 66 of 2020. Objectives: This study aims to find out how the implementation of Open Data program policies in providing information in Semarang Regency. Methods: This study used a descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Results/Findings: The results of the study show that the implementation of Open Data still encounters several shortcomings, including the absence of Regional Regulations governing Open Data, delays in data input, sectoral egos, employee mutations, and not all information is available on the website. Conclusion: It is known that the management of the Open Data program held in Semarang Regency has not been running well.
