Abstract

Problem Statement/Background: The home industry is one of the drivers of egional economic growth with quality product from the region. Therefore, local governments must support and encourage the advancement of home industries by making appropriate regulations. Based on Law Number 11 of 2020 Article 89 Paragraohs 1 and 3 concerning Job Creation, the central government and local government must support home industries/micrp, small and medium enterprise (UMKM) by providing convenience for these business actors so that their businesses can development. Purpose: This study aims to results show that the marketing policy for home industry products in Bumiharjo Village is not optimal because the current product marketing regulation/policies are not yet official so that it has an impact on the marketing process for home industry product. This study uses a qualitative method with an inductive approach and the data sources come from primary and secondary data. Result: The research instruments used were interviews, observation and documentation as well as using data analysis techniques of reduction, display and verivication. The inhibiting factors for the marketing policy of industrial product based on the internal scope are regulation/policies on marketing of home industry product/UMKM that have not been official and external, namely business production that has not been supported by adequate equipment and limited capital. Efforts that have been made by the Regional Government are the construction of the Join Marketing Center (JMC), product promotion through regional exhibitions and product endorsements through official sosial media such as the Regent and Deputy Regent of Wak Kanan Region.
