Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): (Contains the background behind the research) The implementation of Disaster Management is a series of efforts that includes three stages, namely before the disaster, emergency response and after the disaster. The purpose of disaster management is to ensure the implementation of disaster management in a well-coordinated and integrated manner. In the implementation phase of the 2021 earthquake disaster management in Majene Regency, the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) is an agency that has the task and role of disaster management in the region and acts as a coordinating agency with related disaster management agencies.Objective to describe how the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) coordinates to deal with the earthquake that occurs in 2021 and to analyze the influence of the Majene Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) regarding the coordination of earthquake disaster management in 2021.Methode: The research method used in this study is the Mixed method, which uses a combination of research procedures, with one method being more dominant than other methods.Result BPBD coordination in handling the 2021 earthquake in Majene Regency has gone quite well. This can be seen from the analysis carried out in quantitative data carried out with descriptive analysis techniques with the results that the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) in disaster management in Majene Regency is in the moderate category with a presentation of 49.2%. BPBD coordination in handling the 2021 earthquake in Majene Regency has gone quite well. This can be seen from the analysis carried out in quantitative data carried out with descriptive analysis techniques with the results that the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) in disaster management in Majene Regency is in the medium category with a presentation of 49.2%..Conclusion coordination in the management of the 2021 earthquake disaster carried out by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Majene Regency has gone well. The type of coordination between the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Majene Regency is the type of horizontal interrelated coordination. Horizontal interrelated coordination is coordination between agencies whose duties and functions are not the same, but agencies that are interrelated with one another or have internal and external links at the same level.
