Abstract
ABSTRACT This research is entitled "Development of the Kali Biru kloofcamp tourism object by the Tourism Office in Gurabesi Village, North Jayapura District, Jayapura City, Papua Province". The purpose of this study is to describe and describe the development of the Kali Biru kloofcamp tourism object by the Tourism Office in Gurabesi Village, North Jayapura District, Jayapura City, Papua Province. This research is a kind of qualitative research using descriptive method and case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out through reduction, data encoding, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the development of the Kali Biru kloofcamp tourism object by the Tourism Office in Gurabesi Village, North Jayapura District, Jayapura City, Papua Province has been going well but there are still obstacles. Conclusion: Development has been going well but there are still several inhibiting factors, namely, the lack of public understanding about the empowerment carried out, the lack of preparation for the service and infrastructure, then the lack of public understanding about technological developments. At the end of this thesis the author writes several suggestions, namely, the government in this case the Tourism Office can be more responsive in responding to the Development program, the Tourism Office should increase the socialization about Development. Keywords: Development, Service, Tourism ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengembangan obyek wisata Kali Biru kloofcamp oleh Dinas Pariwisata di Kelurahan Gurabesi Distrik Jayapura Utara Kota Jayapura Provinsi Papua”. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dan menggambarkan Pengembangan obyek wisata Kali Biru kloofcamp oleh Dinas Pariwisata di Kelurahan Gurabesi Distrik Jayapura Utara Kota Jayapura Provinsi Papua. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi, penyadian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwasaya Pengembangan obyek wisata Kali Biru kloofcamp oleh Dinas Pariwisata di Kelurahan Gurabesi Distrik Jayapura Utara Kota Jayapura Provinsi Papua sudah berjalan baik tetapi masih ada hambatan. Kesimpulan :Pengembangan sudah berjalan baik namun masih ada beberapa faktor penghambat yaitu, kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang pengembangan yang dilakukan, kurangnya persiapan dinas serta sarana prasarana, kemudian kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang perkembangan teknologi. Pada bagian akhir dari skripsi ini penulis menuliskan beberapa saran yaitu, pemerintah dalam hal ini Dinas Pariwisata bisa lebih sigap dalam menanggapi program Pengembanagan, Dinas Pariwisata sebaiknya meningkatkan sosialisasi tentang Pengembangan.
