Abstract
Problem Statement/ Background (GAP): The background of the writing of the thesis entitled Implementation Of Refocusing Regional Expenditure Budget In Handling Covid-19 In Solok City The problems observed in this study include: The Regional Government of Solok city experienced budget adjustments and priorities for the use of the budget, resulting in The Solok city Government has experienced several changes in policy direction focused on handling the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to find out the efforts made by the Solok City Government, especially the Regional Finance Agency in managing the 2020 budget year budget in Solok City in handling Covid-19. Method: The method used by the author is a qualitative descriptive method with an inductive approach where the author tries to describe and analyze the actual situation at the research site. The author uses data collection techniques using triangulation and analysis techniques data using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Results: The results of this study, the author intends to provide advice to regional government Solok city taking into account the inhibiting factors that cause less than the maximum refocusing of the regional budget for the 2020 budget year. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the implementation of the refocusing of the regional budget for the Solok City government has been going quite well, but there are still several inhibiting factors among others, the lack of quality of human resources, lack of facilities, lack of coordination between agencies and OPD and lack of public awareness about the dangers of Covid-19.
