Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): (Contains the background behind the research) play an active role in the formation of an institution or organization that supports the development of mangrove forest tourism objects, local and village governments and other related parties strongly support community participation in the development of these attractions. Inhibiting factors include the lack of funds provided and bad weather at tourist attractions and supporting factors, among others, support from the local government, one of the places of additional income for the community, and is one of the best tourist destinations. The Department of Education, Youth, Sports and Tourism along with the Pasir and Wonderful Mempawah village governments are making great efforts to increase community participation in the development of the Mempawah Mangrove Park tourist attraction..Objective : knowing the form of community participation in developing mangrove tourism objects during the Covid-19 pandemic,.Methode: This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with an inductive approach, where the authors obtain data by means of interviews, observation and documentation Result forms of community participation in the development of tourism objects include renovating existing damage, making some creativity such as, making photo spots and decorating knick-knacks to beautify tourist attractions, repairing and developing Mempawah Mangrove Park sincerely without being paid, providing trash bins, making a central post. to serve visitors, Conclusion: play an active role in the formation of an institution or organization that supports the development of mangrove forest tourism objects, local and village governments and other related parties strongly support community participation in the development of these attractions.
