Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): (Contains the background behind the research). Strategy is something that needs to be developed in solving a problem. Where this strategy is the main thing that determines the success of an organization in achieving maximum work results. In solving this fire disaster problem, it is necessary to have leaders and their staff who have competence in finding causes and strategies to solve fire problems in order to create protection for the community. Objective: to find out and analyze the strategy of the Central Jakarta City Administration of Fire and Rescue Management based on the Rangkuti SWOT strategy theory with the dimensions of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in order to find out internal and external problems.Methode: This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with an inductive approach, where the authors obtain data by means of interviews, observation and documentation Result: The strategy carried out by the Central Jakarta City Administration Fire and Rescue Sub-dept. can be said to be quite good but can still be improved by utilizing technology, it is necessary to have good coordination and cooperation between agencies related to regulatory reform programs, include fire prevention programs in the school curriculum, accelerate mapping program for fire-prone areas. Conclusion: The strategy carried out by the Central Jakarta City Administration of Fire and Rescue in the Fire Prevention Improvement Program is quite good but can still be improved. It has not been said to be good because there are still several strategies that cannot be implemented optimally and there are still shortcomings in several dimensions of analysis and strategy, namely the SO Strategy (Strength x Opportunity), ST Strategy (Strength x Threats), WO Strategy (Weakness x Opportunity) and WT Strategy.
