Abstract
Problem/Background (GAP): Bone Bolango Regency is famous for its culture that is still maintained today, that is the attraction of one of the regencies in Gorontalo Province, on the other hand, Bone Bolango Regency also has problems regarding participation in the ownership of Population Documents. Purpose: The research that the researcher did aims to find out how the community participates in the issuance of death certificates in the context of orderly Population Administration and Civil Registration, what are the inhibiting and determining factors, and what efforts are being made to increase public participation in the issuance of death certificates at the Population and Civil Registration Service. Civil Registry of Bone Bolango Regency. Method: This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Result: Based on the researcher's analysis. Community participation in the issuance of death certificates in the context of orderly population administration and civil registration at the Population and Civil Registry Office of Bone Bolango Regency has been running in accordance with applicable regulations. Conclusion: Even though it has been running in accordance with applicable regulations but there are still people who do not know the importance of issuing and administering death certificates. Factors that hinder public participation in the issuance of death certificates are the lack of public awareness in terms of ownership of death certificates and the lack of public knowledge about the importance of orderly administration of population documents, namely death certificates. The efforts that have been made by the Population and Civil Registration Office of Bone Bolango Regency are carrying out socialization about the importance of having a death certificate and implementing programs that make it easier to issue death certificates, namely the DEMANTAP program.
