Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The author focuses on the changes between conventional system to digital system, especially on the empowerment process of the micro enterprises in food processing sectors. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze and to find out the empowerment process of the processed food business community which involving digitalization system who has been held by Department of Cooperation and SMEs in Semarang. Method: This study uses descriptive qualitative research with an inductive approach. Result: The study found out that the empowerment process of the micro enterprises who has been held by Department of Cooperation and SMEs have conducted some programs which related to digitalization. Even though there is some problems which must be fixed, for example the digital capability of human resources. Conclusion: Department of Cooperation and SMEs has been doing an effort to empowering digitalization in the food processed micro enterprises. This can be done because there is a good coordination between Department and the micro enterprises community for digitalization empowerment process. Furthermore, the food processed micro enterprises should be doing evaluation and more active to explore their inovation in digitalization.
