Abstract

Problem Statement/Background : The complaint facility for submitting criticism and suggestions as well as for simply asking for information within the scope of government, especially the Communication and Information Office of East Kotawaringin Regency is considered quite good because the East Kotawaringin Regency Government has created and integrated IT-based complaint services with the website of the East Kotawaringin Regency Communication and Information Office (https: //diskominfo.kotimkab.go.id/). Purpose: So that the author's purpose of carrying out this research is to determine the condition of the level of effectiveness of using the LAPOR!, to find out the inhibiting factors for the LAPOR!, as well as to find out the efforts made by the Department of Communication and Information of East Kotawaringin Regency. Method: This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative research method through an inductive approach, then the data collection technique in this study used a technique consisting of three parts, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used by the author is the model used, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Conclusion: Based on the results of the analysis, the authors conclude that the enthusiasm of the community to use the LAPOR! This is still relatively low because only some people know about this service, so it is a challenge for the Communications and Information Technology Office to more intensely socialize the features of this service.
