Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): (Contains the background behind the research). The digitization of government services through the mandate of Presidential Regulation Number 95 of 2018 concerning Electronic-Based Government Systems has had a considerable impact on the Government, especially the City of Palembang. The Palembang City Government is trying to provide a digital reporting service called e-lapor hallo palembang. The usefulness of the Hallo Palembang application, which is still lacking in the Palembang City community, makes it a challenge to provide an overview of how this application works. Objective: Knowing the attitude of the local government in responding to public complaints through e-reports for Palembang City Methode: This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with an inductive approach, where the authors obtain data by means of interviews, observation and documentation Result Public interest in using the e-Report Hallo Palembang application is low because people feel this application cannot provide convenience in a job and people are reluctant to use this application because this application is not updated regularly by the organizers due to the lack of budget and limited human resources. there is.Conclusion: the e-report application hallo palembang is less attractive to the public because of the slow quality of report completion and the poor response of the hardware supporting this application due to the lack of qualified human resources and able to work regularly to manage this application. The appearance of the application is also less attractive to be one of the factors this application is less desirable.
