Abstract

The author focuses on the problem where there are still some obstacles that cause the low number of ownership of death certificates at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Central Lampung Regency. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the service for issuing death certificates through the SLAMDUNG application in Central Lampung Regency. Methods: This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with an inductive approach and an analysis of the theory of performance by Payaman J. Simanjuntak. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews (10 informants), documentation and observation. Results/Findings: that the performance of the Department of Population and Civil Registration in increasing ownership of death certificates through the SLAMDUNG application is still not optimal, such as the lack of human resources in dealing with death certificates so that the impact of services is less effective and efficient in providing services. Conclusion: The SLAMDUNG application is quite effective, although there are still some obstacles. Therefore, efforts are needed to be made, namely improving the quality of human resources who will directly serve the community.
