Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP): Prosperous Family Tribina can contribute to the development of the Indonesian state from the periphery because it is an activity that can involve the entire community, from toddlers to the elderly, through Toddler Family Development, Youth Family Development, and Elderly Family Development activities. Purpose: To find out and analyze community participation in the tribina program in the Quality Family Village in Parigi District and to find out the inhibiting factors and efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors. Method: The descriptive qualitative research method was used in this study. Observation, interviews, and documentation were used to collect data. Data analysis strategies include decreasing data, presenting data, and extracting conclusions from data collected in the field. Result: The theory utilized to study is Cohen and Uphoff's theory, which outlines four elements of involvement: participation in decision making, implementation, benefiting, and evaluation. The second dimension is that participation in the implementation has not been going well because there has not been a significant increase in community participation every month. The third dimension is that participation in benefit-taking has been going well because the benefits of having a polindes and family planning instructors as village midwives really help the community. Conclusion: The first feature, namely participation in decision making, has gone well because there has been no opposition and the community accepts the KB village's presence. The second feature is that community participation in the implementation has been low, with no notable growth in community participation month after month. The third dimension is that benefit-taking has been going well since the advantages of having polindes and family planning instructors are always village midwives who truly assist the community. The fourth factor is that due to numerous revisions to the Tribina schedule, participation in the evaluation has been difficult, and there are still many animals. The author's recommendation to the Parigi Moutong Regency's Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning is to provide community socialization and door prizes on certain activities to attract interest and motivate people, as well as hold a budget next year to complete infrastructure facilities that are needed. Keywords: Quality Family Village, Tribina, Participation
