Abstract
Problem statement/background: Innovation in planning and regional development needs to be improved because we have entered the era of digitalization which must utilize information systems to support the implementation of regional development planning. Information systems are very important in improving development planning because it makes it very easy for us to input data that can be monitored directly by the central government. Purpose: This study aims to find out how the implementation of the local government information system (SIPD) in development planning in the city of Tidore Islands which is the implementation of the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 70 of 2019 concerning the Regional Government Information System which requires all regional governments to use SIPD in carrying out regional development planning. This research was conducted at the research and development planning agency for the City of Tidore Islands. Method: The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with an inductive approach. The data used are primary data and secondary data collected through interviews and documentation, with a sample of informants determined using purposive sampling technique. Result: showed that the City of Tidore Kepulauan has succeeded in carrying out the instructions from the ministry of home affairs related to the implementation of the local government information system, although there are still some obstacles and obstacles faced but have been handled properly so that the implementation of the local government information system can run well. Conclusion: The implementation of the local government information system has been going well, this is because Bapelitbang has overcome all the problems that occur in the implementation of the SIPD implementation.
