Abstract
Problem/Background (GAP): The preparation of this LPPD is a routine activity carried out by each local government every year, including Tanggamus Regency, but in its implementation there are still obstacles in the preparation process. Purpose: this study was to determine and describe the effectiveness of the preparation of the Report on the Implementation of Regional Government in Tanggamus Regency, Lampung Province and the efforts made in overcoming the obstacles that occurred during the report preparation process. Methods: the research used is descriptive qualitative with an inductive approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, documentation, and triangulation/combination Results/Findings: this study shows that in general the preparation of the Report on the Implementation of Regional Government in Tanggamus Regency, Lampung Province has not been effective, this can be seen in terms of the preparation time which is still not in accordance with the desired target, there is no or not yet available data requested from the Section Governance of the Regional Secretariat of Tanggamus Regency, the pattern of coordination and communication has not been maximally implemented, which is more due to the difficulty of obtaining data from each regional apparatus to be submitted to the Governance Section as well as the addition of inhibiting factors such as lack of infrastructure, lack of human resources, and the absence of rewards. and punishments. Conclusion: the effectiveness of the preparation of reports on the implementation of local government in Tanggamus Regency, Lampung Province is still not effective based on the time of preparation, data/or information collected, and the pattern of coordination and communication carried out by administrative staff in the Governance Section and staff in each regional apparatus.
