Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background :The Cash-Intensive Program implemented by the Jayapura City Manpower Service is a program that has an important role in supporting the effectiveness of solving unemployment problems during the Covid-19 Pandemic in Jayapura City. Purpose:Therefore, through this research, the author wants to measure the effectiveness of the Cash-Intensive Program in overcoming the unemployment problem in this pandemic in Jayapura City. Method: the author uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely research that describes problems or cases that are put forward based on existing facts and then researched and drawn conclusions. Result:This is because the jayapura city labor office has not been able to accept all unemployed workers, a large number in budget refocusing is the main cause of the ineffective cash-intensive program. Conclusion : The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of a cash-intensive program carried out by the Jayapura City Manpower Office to overcome the problem of unemployment in Jayapura City in the era of the Covid-19 Pandemic has not been effective Keywords: Cash-intensive Program, Jayapura Manpower Service
