Abstract
The function of government in the era of globalization is very much needed by a number of government activities whose benefits are felt for the community in the future. This is assisted by the local government as a regional stakeholder in the region. Each activity needs funds that must be prepared by the local government. One of the local governments is Padang Pariaman Regency. Padang Pariaman Regency since the entry of Covid-19 has become a challenge for the Padang Pariaman Regency government so that the regional government needs to reallocate some funds for handling COVID-19 and economic recovery for the community. This needs to be a concern for the use of regional original income, transfer income from the center or from the province, as well as the use of capital expenditures as a form of handling COVID and capital in an effort to increase the economy such as building roads, bridges or facilities that can be used by the community in making it easier to carry out activities. economic activity. This is an important concern so that it is necessary to assess the regional financial performance of the local government of Padang Pariaman Regency. Based on this fact, the researcher conducted a study entitled "INFLUENCE OF REGIONAL ORIGINAL INCOME OF TRANSFER AND CAPITAL EXPENDITURES ON REGIONAL FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE IN THE REGIONAL GOVERNMENT OF PADANG PARIAMAN REGENCY". This study aims to determine and describe how the influence of regional original income, transfer income, and capital expenditure on the regional financial performance of the Padang Pariaman Regency government that occurred during the period from the 2010 fiscal year to the 2020 fiscal year. In this research, the researchers used the research method. quantitative and using several kinds of test methods such as research instrument test, classical assumption test, and regression test either partially or simultaneously. Data collection techniques used are secondary data collection and observation. The results showed that the influence of local revenue, transfer income, and regional expenditure on regional financial performance had a simultaneous effect but partially had a small effect. The advice given by the researcher is to continue to streamline local revenue and utilize transfer income as efficiently as possible as well as the use of targeted and economical capital expenditures.
