Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem/Background (GAP): The author focuses on the issue of empowering women in improving the economy through the Sekoper Cinta program (schools for girls to achieve dreams and aspirations) in Bandung. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the Sekoper Cinta Program in empowering women to improve their economy, as well as to find out the obstacles and efforts made in the program. Methods: This research is a type of action research with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using a qualitative approach and descriptive methods. Findings/Result: The results of the study conclude that there is still no regular evaluation of the Sekoper Cinta program activities. Although there are still some obstacles, namely negative perceptions, resignation in the middle of activities, and lack of understanding related to Information and Technology (IT). Conclusion: The West Java Provincial Government continues to strive to increase public understanding of the importance of the Sekoper Cinta Program and complete the facilities in this program. Continuous evaluation is needed so that this program can be even better in the future. Keywords : Women's Empowerment, Sekoper Cinta, Economic ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Penulis berfokus pada permasalahan pemberdayaan perempuan dalam meningkatkan perekonomian melalui program sekoper cinta (sekolah perempuan capai impian dan cita-cita) di Kota Bandung. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis Program Sekoper Cinta dalam pemberdayaan perempuan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian mereka, serta mengetahui kendala dan upaya yang dilakukan dalam program tersebut. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan (Action Research) dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dian alisis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa masih belum adanya evaluasi secara berkala dalam kegiatan program Sekoper Cinta. Meskipun masih ada beberapa hambatan yaitu persepsi yang negatif, pengunduran diri di tengah kegiatan, dan kurangnya pemahaman terkait Information and Technology (IT). Kesimpulan: Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat terus berupaya untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat akan pentingnya Program Sekoper Cinta dan melengkapi fasilitas dalam program ini. Evaluasi berkelanjutan diperlukan agar program ini dapat lebih baik lagi ke depannya. Kata Kunci : Pemberdayaan Perempuan, Sekoper Cinta, Perekonomian
