Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Employee Data Integration Through the Process of Personnel Management Information System in the Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency of Padang City". As regulated in Government Regulation Number 11 of 2017 concerning Management of Civil Servants, it stipulates that the ASN Information System is a series of information and data regarding ASN employees that is compiled in a systematic, comprehensive, and integrated manner. The problem with the Padang City BKPSDM is that the employee data at the Padang City BKPSDM has not been optimally integrated with the Central BKN. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze employee perceptions of employee data integration through the SIMPEG process and to analyze how employee data integration through SIMPEG uses Giordano's theory (2011). This study uses qualitative methods and uses data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews and documentation. The results show that employees consider data integration to be very important and the Padang City BKPSDM has implemented employee data integration through SIMPEG well but not optimally because employee data integration is still constrained by human resources or staff factors that are still minimal, facilities and infrastructure are still inadequate. and the process is still manual. Therefore, the Padang City BKPSDM should develop the existing SIMPEG and conduct online SIMPEG socialization and increase the number of competent staff so that the data integration process can run quickly and optimally.
