Abstract
This study was conducted to analyze how the performance of employees of the Regional Disaster Management Agency in Forest and Land Fire Disaster Management in Dumai City, Riau Province. The purpose of this study is to find out how the performance, inhibiting factors, and efforts will be carried out by the Regional Disaster Management Agency. The results of this study are the performance assessment of Regional Disaster Management Agency Employees in Forest and Land Fire Disaster Management in Dumai City is considered to be quite good, from the views of the community and employees, although there are still obstacles, namely, structural positions have not shown the performance of employees and employees of the National Disaster Management Agency. The Dumai City area does not yet have the ability to carry out service tasks to the community. The suggestions proposed in this study are, to actualize employees who occupy structural positions so that there is no equal quality of employees, for employees who become officers who serve the community to take part in socialization and training related to public services, and make a suggestion box regarding services so that they can be improved according to public complaints.
