Abstract

PERFORMANCE OF COVID-19 TASK UNIT APPARATUS IN HANDLING COVID-19 IN MAMASA REGENCY, WEST SULAWESI PROVINCE. The purpose of this study is to explain and describe the performance of the apparatus, the factors that support and hinder as well as the efforts of the COVID-19 task force in Mamasa Regency in the process of handling COVID-19. The performance theory used is the performance theory proposed by Prabu Mangkunegara (2010: 67), from the dimensions of work results, discipline as well as responsibility and cooperation. The spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia tends to continue to increase from time to time, causing an increasing number of fatalities. To solve these problems while at the same time facing this pandemic, in Mamasa Regency the COVID-19 task force carried out detection through strengthening testing (antigen, PCR) and tracing (positive, recovered, isoman, died, OTG, ODP, quarantine). The COVID-19 Task Force carries out clinical management which is carried out according to the management of new development cases and does the best possible preparation for the capacity of hospitals and other supporting health care facilities. The COVID-19 Task Force has made behavioral changes to the people of Mamasa Regency through strengthening health protocols based on Peduli Protect information technology. Researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods with an inductive approach, as well as data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The data that has been collected is processed using an exploratory approach, analyzed through data reduction and then data presentation. This study answers performance with results in the form of programs that have been carried out well with indicators of work results, discipline and responsibility and cooperation. It can be concluded that the overall performance of the COVID-19 task force apparatus in Mamasa district has been running optimally. However, the researcher gave recommendations that it would be better if it was carried out by volunteers who were recruited directly by the social service. Especially socialization and vaccination to areas that are difficult to reach and don't be careless even though cases are decreasing.
