Abstract

Political marketing is a growing thing discussed by experts at a three-decade, It is as its opinion lees-marshment ( 2006: 124 ) saying : marketing political is a the exciting field less known and many aspects quite feasible to be disputed. Then O’shaughnessy ( 2002: 1089 posited ): to do political marketing is performing a journey but not to control its. The success of a political party to win elections is determined by several factors, both internal and external factors. One factor that determines the success of a political party that was a political marketing. It is as expressed by Scammell (1999) stating that the political marketing offers a new way of understanding and managing modern politics. And So also O’Cass ( 1996a ) said marketing that encourages and enables party and voters to be part of a dialogue constructive. Because of political marketing is one factor that determines the success of political parties in taking the sympathy of voters who eventually won the elections, it is necessary to determine the most appropriate strategy in political marketing. In this regard the use of four (4) P of marketing mix plus a good marketing research that generates the proper market segmentation will push candidates or political parties to implement the most appropriate marketing strategies to community conditions faced. That means candidates or political parties they have noticed all the components that influence to political marketing is good, resulting in the best for candidates or political parties as well as the voters, and that have influence for the best rule that is made in the future when it becomes the winner in the election.
