Abstract

Transportation is one of the importance components for local government to fulfill his mobility local society needs. This research titled. Survey’s result mentioned problems occurring in the BRT Transbandarlampung until now that never has a special lane, BRT still need more halte because only 62 units available, also average wide of the road in the Bandar Lampung Administrative City not suitable for making special lane for BRT vehicles. This research aim to acknowledge the strategy that used by The Transportation Agencies to improve the services quality of BRT Transbandarlampung and to acknowledge the factors that support and hinder the improve service quality of BRT Transbandarlampung. Research methods is used descriptive methods with qualitative approach, research tools that used in this research is “SWOT” and “Litmus test” with the key instrument is the researcher's it self. The results show that the strategy of Transportation Agency of Bandar Lampung Administrative City has not been able to improve the services quality of transportation in Bandar Lampung especialy for transportation modes Bus Rapid Transit Transbandarlampung. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis and calculation litmust test, the authors suggest that the Bandar Lampung’s Government by Transportation Agency Bandar Lampung Administrative City to reconstruction of the BRT plan carefully beforehand. If it can not to providing special lines, halte, and other facilities, better if BRT Transbandarlampung is stop for a while, because the condition of the road network spatial in Bandar Lampung is not suitable for the implementation of the BRT policy and can potentially more complex social conflict. In order not being big collept for consortium side, current vehicles using like Mikrolet/MPU in Rajabasa-Sukaraja corridor and Korpri-Sukaraja corridor as a solid line passengers.
