Abstract

ABSTRACT Probem/Background (GAP) :This research is based on the great potential of tourism in increasing regional income and promoting economic growth of the community. Bondowoso Regency has a variety of attractive tourist destinations, especially Ijen Geopark, which has been recognized by UNESCO as a Global Geopark. But, tourism management in Bondowoso Regency is still conventional.. The lack of promotional facilities, information and digital services has left Bondowoso's tourism potential untapped Bondowoso's tourism potential has not been maximized. Objective :This research aims to design a prototype of the "Bondowisata" application, which is a mobile-based application capable of providing digital tourism services. Methods : The research method used is a qualitative method with the design thinking approach, which consists of five main stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The research was conducted with interviews and observations interviews and observations of the local government, tourism actors and the community to understand the needs and problems that exist. needs and problems that exist. Keywords : Tourism, Bondowisata application, design thinking, prototype, smart tourism ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP) : Penelitian ini didasarkan karena potensi besar pariwisata dalam meningkatkan pendapatan daerah serta mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat. Kabupaten Bondowoso memiliki berbagai destinasi wisata menarik, khususnya Ijen Geopark yang telah diakui UNESCO sebagai Global Geopark, namun pengelolaan pariwisata di Kabupaten Bondowoso masih bersifat konvensional. Kurangnya sarana promosi, informasi, dan layanan digital membuat potensi wisata Bondowoso belum tergarap maksimal. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang prototype aplikasi "Bondowisata", yaitu aplikasi berbasis mobile yang mampu memberikan layanan pariwisata secara digital. Metode : Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan Design Thinking, yang terdiri dari lima tahapan utama yaitu Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, dan Testing. Penelitian dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi terhadap pemerintah daerah, pelaku wisata, dan masyarakat guna memahami kebutuhan serta permasalahan yang ada. Hasil / Temuan : Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah prototype aplikasi yang dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi Pemerintah Kabupaten Bondowoso dalam mewujudkan smart tourism dan mendorong digitalisasi layanan pariwisata. Kesimpulan: Melalui aplikasi "Bondowisata", masyarakat dan wisatawan dapat memperoleh layanan yang mudah, cepat, aman, dan terintegrasi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan daya tarik wisata Bondowoso dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah secara berkelanjutan.
