Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): There is still a gap in the study of personal branding at the local government level, especially regarding the effectiveness of sustainable leadership image formation in Batanghari Regency. Purpose: This study aims to analyze personal branding in sustainable leadership in Batanghari Regency. Method: The approach used was descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation from the media and digital archives. Result: The results showed that Fadhil Arief's personal branding was formed naturally through a long bureaucratic career, a track record of achievement, and his closeness to the community. The competency aspect is reflected in his mastery of government regulations, public communication skills, and program innovations based on the needs of the people. Personal standards are reflected in the consistency of work ethic, data-based leadership, and achievement of awards at various levels. Personal style is displayed through a simple, adaptive, and communicative attitude and is supported by a friendly and open character. Conclusion: The Personal branding that has been built by Fadhil Arief is very strong through a career journey with consistent good performance. However, strengthening digital strategies, especially in terms of aesthetics and professionalism of visual content on social media, is recommended to increase the reach and sustainability of Fadhil Arief's leadership image. Keywords: personal branding; leadership style; digital communication; regional bureaucracy ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Masih terdapat kesenjangan dalam kajian mengenai personal branding di tingkat pemerintahan daerah, khususnya terkait efektivitas pembentukan citra kepemimpinan yang berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Batanghari. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis personal branding dalam kepemimpinan yang berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Batanghari. Metode: Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan dokumentasi dari media serta arsip digital. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa personal branding Fadhil Arief terbentuk secara alami melalui perjalanan karier birokrasi yang panjang, rekam jejak prestasi, serta kedekatannya dengan masyarakat. Aspek kompetensi tercermin dari penguasaan terhadap regulasi pemerintahan, kemampuan komunikasi publik, dan inovasi program berbasis kebutuhan rakyat. Standar personal tercermin dari konsistensi etos kerja, kepemimpinan berbasis data, serta pencapaian penghargaan di berbagai level. Gaya personal ditampilkan melalui sikap yang sederhana, adaptif, dan komunikatif serta didukung oleh karakter yang ramah dan terbuka. Kesimpulan: Personal branding yang sudah dibangun oleh Fadhil Arief sangat kuat melalui perjalanan karier dengan kinerja baik yang konsisten. Namun, penguatan strategi digital khususnya dalam hal estetika dan profesionalisme konten visual di media sosial, direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan daya jangkau dan keberlanjutan citra kepemimpinan Fadhil Arief.
