Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP) : The website tomohon.go.id as the official portal of Tomohon City Government plays a strategic role in digital public information services, however the usability level of this website has not been empirically evaluated to determine its ease of use for the community. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to evaluate the usability level of the tomohon.go.id website using the usability testing method based on Jakob Nielsen's five indicators. Method: This research uses a quantitative approach with usability testing methods according to Jacob Nielsen's Theory. Data collection techniques were conducted by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents selected using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error, observation, and documentation. Result: The findings obtained by the author in this research show that usability has a significant influence on ease of use, where the Spearman test results show a very strong positive relationship between the two, namely 73.9% of the ease of use variable can be explained by usability factors. All usability indicators are in the good category, with learnability and memorability indicators obtaining the highest scores of 4.47 and 4.40 on a scale of 5. Conclusion: The tomohon.go.id website has a significant influence in facilitating public access to public information services. This website is easy to use (Learnability), efficient (Efficiency) in delivering information, and has a design that is easily remembered (Memorability) by users. Keywords: Usability testing, website, public services, government, tomohon.go.id ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Website tomohon.go.id sebagai portal resmi Pemerintah Kota Tomohon berperan strategis dalam pelayanan informasi publik digital, namun tingkat kebergunaan (usability) website tersebut belum dievaluasi secara empiris untuk mengetahui kemudahan penggunaannya bagi masyarakat. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat usability website tomohon.go.id menggunakan metode usability testing berdasarkan lima indikator Jakob Nielsen. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode usability testing menurut Teori Jacob Nielsen. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 responden yang dipilih menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan margin of error 10% , observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil/Temuan: Temuan yang diperoleh penulis dalam penelitian ini yaitu Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usability berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemudahan penggunaan, di mana hasil uji Spearman menunjukkan hubungan positif yang sangat kuat antara keduanya yaitu 73,9% variabel kemudahan penggunaan dapat dijelaskan oleh faktor usability. Seluruh indikator usability berada pada kategori baik, dengan indikator learnability dan memorability memperoleh nilai tertinggi dengan menyentuh angka 4,47 dan 4,40 dari skala 5. Kesimpulan: Website tomohon.go.id memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam mempermudah masyarakat mengakses pelayanan informasi publik. Website ini telah mudah digunakan (Learnability) , efisien (Efficiency) dalam penyampaian informasi, serta memiliki desain yang mudah diingat (Memorability) oleh pengguna.
