Abstract
Problem statement/background (GAP): Indonesia is one of the tourism countries and Bali is part of the source of tourist destinations, precisely at the Broken Beach Tourist Attraction in Nusa Penida is a popular destination with amazing natural beauty. However, there are high safety risks for tourists due to steep terrain, steep cliffs, and strong waves from the open ocean. The rise of tourist accidents, such as falling off cliffs or being carried away by currents, shows that safety risk management at the location has not been optimal. The lack of safety facilities and infrastructure such as security posts, road access that is not suitable for passing through due to damage and limited human resources, especially in optimizing the availability of daily security officers who are on guard at the location are the main inhibiting factors. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the Risk Management of tourist safety, identify inhibiting factors, and evaluate safety improvement efforts that have been carried out at the Broken Beach Nusa Penida Tourist Attraction. Method: This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation collection. Data analysis through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. Results: The results of the study show that safety facilities such as warning signs and guardrails are available, but not optimal. Road access to the location is still difficult because the road land is still being built on private land, and human resources such as security officers need to increase capacity. The environment and regulations also affect the safety of tourists. The main inhibiting factors include limited facilities, difficulty of access, and lack of capacity of security officers on standby at the site. Conclusion: It is necessary to add safety facilities, improve road access, train officers to be certified for safety, and socialization to tourists. Collaboration between the government, managers, and local communities is essential to create safe and comfortable tourist destinations. Keywords : Risk Management, Tourist Safety, Broken Beach, Tourism.
