Abstract
Problem (GAP): Strategies to enhance stunting prevention will be more effective if specific nutrition interventions and sensitive nutrition interventions are carried out continuously. The continuity of service delivery requires collaboration in every activity implementation, from planning to monitoring, to ensure that all nutrition intervention services can be provided to the target, especially the underprivileged community. Objective: To understand the implementation of stunting prevention policies in South Tangerang City, Banten Province; the factors hindering the implementation of stunting prevention policies in South Tangerang City, Banten Province; and the efforts made to overcome these hindering factors in the implementation of stunting prevention policies in South Tangerang City, Banten Province. Method: This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a deductive approach. The data collection methods used are primary data sources, including interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques employed are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions using triangulation techniques. Results/Findings: The policies established for stunting prevention in South Tangerang are clearly articulated and aligned with existing policies. The South Tangerang Health Office has demonstrated the appropriate attitude to tackle stunting and can collaborate effectively to determine suitable policies for stunting prevention. Conclusion: The hindering factor in the implementation of stunting prevention policies in South Tangerang City, Banten Province, is the lack of budget, which prevents optimal policy execution. Efforts to address these hindering factors include increasing budget availability by collaborating with other stakeholders. Keywords: Stunting, Implementation, Policy, Health
