Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Backgorund (GAP): This research focuses on the large number of street vendors and seasonal vendors who trade inappropriately and do not have a business license. Purpose: To analyze the Enforcement of Regulations in the Regulation of Street Vendors and Seasonal Traders in the Tarakan City Pamong Praja Police Unit, North Kalimantan Province. Methods: This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods this is necessary to obtain the research data needed to produce the findings of this research. Results: The results of the study that technically the enforcement of local regulations on street vendors (PKL) Number 20 of 2001 concerning the enforcement of street vendors and seasonal traders has been running well in accordance with the rules in order to create order, tidiness, and beauty of the city in accordance with existing provisions. Conclusion: The obstacles or barriers in this study are that there are still violations, which are caused by internal factors and external factors. Therefore, the solution to the obstacles or obstacles is to provide special guidance and sanctions for violators of Regional Regulation Number 20 of 2001 concerning Enforcement of Street Vendors and seasonal so as not to repeat violations that have been made by traders and socialize several government programs.
