Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem (GAP): Before the implementation of the election, there will be a campaign process that will be faced. The results of a survey on the implementation of the 2019 elections stated that the implementation of the campaign in Seruyan Regency caused conflict and disturbance of public order in the community. Objective: To determine and analyse the role of Satpol PP in preparing for the 2024 elections in Seruyan Regency. Method: This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with an inductive approach. The data collection techniques used by researchers are interviews, observations, and documentation. The theory used is Role Theory by Jones in Mahsun 2006. Results: That the Seruyan Regency Satpol PP is constrained by inadequate transportation facilities. Conclusion: In conclusion, the Seruyan Regency Satpol PP has made efforts to prepare for the 2024 elections by following the applicable SOPs. Keywords: Election, Role, and Pamong Praja Police Unit ABSTRAK Permasalahan (GAP): Sebelum pelaksanaan pemilu akan ada proses kampanye yang akan dihadapi. Hasil survei tentang pelaksanaan pemilu tahun 2019 menyebutkan bahwa pelaksanaan kampanye di Kabupaten Seruyan menimbulkan konflik dan gangguan trantibum dimasyarakat. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana peran Satpol PP dalam persiapan menghadapi pemilu Tahun 2024 di Kabupaten Seruyan. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan induktif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan ialah Teori Peran oleh Jones dalam Mahsun 2006. Hasil: Bahwa Satpol PP Kabupaten Seruyan terkendala pada sarana transportasi yang belum memadai. Kesimpulan: Kesimpulannya bahwa Satpol PP Kabupaten Seruyan telah mengupayakan persiapan menghadapi pemilu tahun 2024 dengan mengikuti SOP yang berlaku Kata Kunci: Pemilu, Peran, dan Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja
