Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): This research aims to understand the effectiveness of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in reducing poverty in the complex Muara Enim Regency. The focus is on overcoming the problem of poverty with comprehensive mitigation, as well as addressing the elderly community's challenges to information related to PKH. Purpose: This research aims to to provide a valuable contribution to understanding the role of PKH in alleviating local poverty and provide recommendations for program improvements in the future. Method: This research employs a qualitative approach with an inductive method. The data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. Result: The Family Hope Program (PKH) in Muara Enim Regency has succeeded in reducing poverty positively. This program increases the accuracy of data collection on poverty aid recipients and reduces the number of PKH recipients due to their ability to be independent. This reflects the program's success in providing effective assistance to improve the welfare of poor families. Apart from that, there have been significant changes to the PKH program in Muara Enim Regency, showing the government's efforts to increase the effectiveness of this program. Conclusion: The Family Hope Program (PKH) in Muara Enim Regency has succeeded in reducing poverty by increasing children's participation in education, family access to health services, and the economic capacity of beneficiary families. Recommendations to ensure the success of this program include an effective monitoring and evaluation system, program adjustments based on evaluation, and active support from local communities. Keywords: Effectiveness, Family Hope Program, Poverty alleviation ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami efektivitas Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) dalam penanggulangan kemiskinan di Kabupaten Muara Enim yang kompleks. Fokusnya adalah mengatasi permasalahan kemiskinan dengan mitigasi yang komprehensif, serta menangani tantangan masyarakat lanjut usia terhadap informasi terkait PKH. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi berharga untuk memahami peran PKH dalam pengentasan kemiskinan lokal dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk perbaikan program di masa depan. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan induktif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu dengan wawancara, observasi, kemudian dokumentasi. Hasil/Temuan: Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) di Kabupaten Muara Enim berhasil mengurangi kemiskinan dengan positif. Program ini meningkatkan akurasi pendataan bantuan penerima bantuan kemiskinan dan mengurangi jumlah penerima PKH karena kemampuan mandiri. Hal ini mencerminkan keberhasilan program dalam memberikan bantuan efektif untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga miskin. Selain itu, terdapat perubahan yang signifikan dari program PKH di Kabupaten Muara Enim, menunjukkan upaya pemerintah dalam meningkatkan efektivitas program ini. Kesimpulan: Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) di Kabupaten Muara Enim berhasil mengurangi kemiskinan dengan meningkatkan partisipasi anak dalam pendidikan, akses keluarga terhadap layanan kesehatan, dan kapasitas ekonomi keluarga penerima manfaat. Rekomendasi untuk memastikan keberhasilan program ini termasuk sistem pemantauan dan evaluasi yang efektif, penyesuaian program berdasarkan evaluasi, serta dukungan aktif masyarakat setempat.
