Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statment/Background (GAP): The development of information technology today makes the Government strive to increase people's digital literacy insights. The low level of digital literacy of the people of East Lombok Regency currently makes the Government strive to become a role model for the people in East Lombok Regency. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of information dissemination on improving community digital literacy in East Lombok Regency which includes 4 pillars of digital literacy. Methods: Qualitative research method with a descriptive approach that explores employee information within the scope of Diskominfo East Lombok and descriptive reinforcement using data triangulation. Results: The findings obtained by researchers in this study are that among the 4 pillars of digital literacy of the community in East Lombok Regency, there is one pillar of digital literacy that is still very low, the digital safety pillar. this is due to several factors, namely the first is the lack of budget allocated by the Government for digital literacy activities, second is the low level of public awareness regarding data security, and the lack of community ability to manage information received through social media and the Internet. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that there are obstacles in the form of a lack of budget for the East Lombok Regency government related to efforts to improve people's digital literacy, especially in the digital culture pillar. Then The picture of the research results shows that Diskominfo East Lombok is able to manage information as needed so that the information shared can be received by the community. Employees make efforts to increase people's digital literacy actively and passively so that any activity carried out by Diskominfo is an effort to improve digital literacy. Keywords: Dissemination information, Digital literacy, Government ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Perkembangan teknologi informasi saat ini membuat Pemerintah berupaya untuk meningkatkan wawasan literasi digital masyarakat. Rendahnya tingkat literasi digital masyarakat Kabupaten Lombok Timur saat ini membuat Pemerintah untuk berupaya untuk menjadi role model bagi masyarakat di Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak diseminasi informasi terhadap peningkatan literasi digital masyarakat di Kabupaten Lombok Timur yang meliputi 4 pilar literasi digital Metode: Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang menggali informasi pegawai di lingkup Diskominfo Lombok Timur dan penguatan deskriptif dengan menggunakan triangulasi data. Hasil/Temuan: Temuan yang diperoleh peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah diantara 4 pilar literasi digital masyarakat di Kabupaten Lombok Timur, terdapat satu pilar literasi digital yang masih sangat rendah yaitu pilar keamanan digital, hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu yang pertama adalah minimnya anggaran yang dialokasikan oleh Pemerintah untuk kegiatan literasi digital, yang kedua adalah masih rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat terkait keamanan data, dan minimnya kemampuan masyarakat dalam mengelola informasi yang diterima melalui media sosial dan internet.
