Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP):. The background to this research is the inconsistency of BUMDes Gabe in depositing the profits it obtains and the failure to achieve the realization of the targets set for PADes in the last 3 (three) years. So, in facing this problem, of course, optimization of management is needed in order to increase the productivity and success of BUMDes Gabe in achieving targets and improving the welfare of its people. Purpose: This research aims to describe the optimization of the management of BUMDes Gabe in increasing the village's original income and, to determine the inhibiting factors and efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors. Method:. The methods was using in this research is descriptive qualitative using interview,observation, and documentation to collect the data. analysis using optimization theory by Siringoringo supported by the principles of BUMDes management by the Center for Library Dynamics Studies. Result:. The research results show that BUMDes Gabe, in its aim of achieving the set deposit targets, has carried out several activities to optimize the management of BUMDes Gabe, including by increasing the number of business units and developing previously existing business units. Apart from that, it also carries out good supervision and coordination between all stakeholders in the management of BUMDes, and regularly carries out BUMDes deliberations and evaluations of BUMDes activities which are usually carried out at the end of each year within the current 1 (one) year. Conclusion: The existence of these forms of activities to optimize BUMDes management has succeeded in showing the graph of BUMDes' contribution to PADes increasing in the last 3 (three) years.
