Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem/Background (GAP): Strategy is something that needs to be developed in solving a problem. Where this strategy is the main thing that determines the success of an organization in achieving maximum work results. In solving fire disaster problems, leaders and their staff are needed who have competence in finding causes and strategies for resolving fire disaster problems. Purpose: This research aims to determine and analyze the strategy of the Central Jakarta City Administration Fire and Rescue Department based on the Rangkuti SWOT strategy theory with the dimensions of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in order to identify internal and external problems. Method: This study uses qualitative descriptive method with inductive approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations and documentation. Results/Findings: The results obtained in this research activity show that the strategy carried out by the Central Jakarta City Administration Fire Management and Rescue Sub-Department can be said to be quite good, it requires good coordination and cooperation between agencies related to regulatory update programs, including fire prevention programs in the school curriculum, carrying out accelerating the program to map areas prone to fire disasters. Conclusion: The Pematangsiantar City Fire and Rescue Department in efforts to prevent and prepare for fire disasters through these measures include: education and socialization to the community and students; inspection and certification of buildings to ensure compliance with safety standards; training and awareness-raising programs. Keywords: Strategy, Fire Prevention, Rescue. ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Strategi merupakan suatu hal yang perlu dikembangkan dalam menyelesaikan suatu masalah. Dimana strategi ini merupakan hal utama yang menjadi penentu keberhasilan suatu organisasi dalam mencapaihasil kerja yang maksimal. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis strategi Suku Dinas Penanggulangan Kebakaran Dan Penyelamatan Kota Administrasi Jakarta Pusat berdasarkan teori strategi SWOT Rangkuti dengan dimensi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman guna mengetahui masalah internal dan eksternal. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan induktif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan penelitian ini bahwa strategi yang dilakukan 2 oleh Suku Dinas Penanggulangan Kebakaran DanPenyelamatan Kota Administrasi Jakarta Pusat sudah dapat dikatakan cukup baik, perlu koordinasi dan kerjasama yang baik antar instansi terkait program pembaruan regulasi, memasukkan program pencegahan kebakaran dalam kurikulum sekolah, melakukan percepatan program pemetaan daerah rawan bencana kebakaran. Kesimpulan: Strategi yang diterapkan Suku Dinas Penanggulangan Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan di wiliayah Kota Administrasi Jakarta Pusat dalam Upaya Peningkatan Mitigasi Kebakaran menunjukan Tingkat kualitas yang cukup memadai, meskipun terdapat ruang untuk peningkatan lebih lanjut.
