Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem/Background: Information technology is currently developing rapidly in line with developments in the times that continue to demand to move forward. The government has now also implemented the use of technology in public services, one of which is websites. From the experience of Covid-19, there have been many significant changes to the way the world works. The need for access to information is very high due to the implementation of PPKM. Objective: For this reason, the website as a medium of communication with the public must be capable and easy to use so that the public can easily use it. This research uses quantitative methods with non-descriptive analysis. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire via Google Form. Method: The collected data was analyzed using non-descriptive statistical analysis methods to determine usability problems on the Website. Results/Findings: The research results show that the Biak Regency Regional Government Website has several usability problems that affect the quality of the Website. These problems include problems in accessing the website which are hampered by networks and human resources who are IT experts. Therefore, human resources are needed who are experts in IT and also improvements to the Website in order to meet user needs and improve the quality of the Website. Conclusion: The conclusion of this research is the importance of analyzing websites regularly to ensure optimal website quality. In addition, local government websites must pay attention to usability aspects in order to meet user needs and facilitate access to public information. This research can be a reference for other local governments in improving the quality of their websites. Keywords: Website, Usability Testing, Public Service. ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang: Teknologi informasi saat ini sangat berkembang pesat sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman yang terus menuntut untuk bergerak maju. Pemerintah saat ini juga sudah menerapkan penggunaan teknologi dalam pelayanan publik, salah satunya website. Dari pengalaman covid-19 yang terjadi, banyak perubahan yang signifikan terhadap cara kerja dunia. Kebutuhan akan akses informasi sangat tinggi dikarenakan adanya pemberlakuan PPKM. Tujuan: Untuk itu Website sebagai media penghubung kepada masyarakat haruslah mumpuni dan mudah digunakan agar masyarakat dapat dengan mudah menggunakannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis non deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner melalui google form. Metode: Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik non deskriptif untuk menentukan masalah usability yang ada pada Website. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Website Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Biak memiliki beberapa masalah usability yang memengaruhi kualitas Website. Masalah tersebut meliputi masalah dalam mengakses Website yang terkendala dengan jaringan dan sumbar daya manusia yang ahli dalam IT. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sumber daya manusia yang ahli dalam IT dan juga perbaikan pada Website agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna dan meningkatkan kualitas Website. Kesimpulan: Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya menganalisis Website secara berkala untuk memastikan kualitas Website yang optimal. Selain itu, Website pemerintah daerah harus memperhatikan aspek usability agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna dan mempermudah akses informasi publik. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi pemerintah daerah lain dalam meningkatkan kualitas Website mereka. Kata Kunci : Website, Usability Testing, Pelayanan Publik
