Abstract

ABSTRACT Proble/Background (GAP): This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the Aceh Party's decreasing number of seats in the Aceh People's Representative Council (DPRA) in the legislative general elections in the last two periods in Aceh Province. This phenomenon is an evaluation for the Aceh Party in the 2024 legislative general election. The Aceh Party must formulate an effective political strategy in order to increase its acquisition of seats in the DPRA in the 2024 legislative general election. Purpose: This research was conducted to determine the political strategy carried out by the Aceh Party to increase its acquisition. seats in the Aceh People's Representative Council (DPRA) in the 2024 legislative general election, inhibiting factors in implementing the strategy carried out by the Aceh Party to increase the number of seats in the Aceh People's Representative Council (DPRA) in the 2024 legislative general election and efforts made by the Aceh Party to overcome factors inhibiting strategy implementation. Method: The method used in this research is a qualitative research approach. The theory used in this research is the theory of political strategic planning by Peter Schroder. Data collection techniques in this research were carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation with data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Result/Findings: The results of this research indicate that the implementation of the political strategy formulated by the Aceh Party in the 2024 legislative general elections in Aceh Province was successful. This is proven by the Aceh Party once again becoming the party that won the most seats in the Aceh People's Representative Council and succeeded in increasing its number of seats from the previous period, namely 18 seats from the total 81 seats, increasing by two seats in the 2024 legislative general election to 20 seats from the total 81 seats in the DPRA. Conclusions: The strategy carried out by the Aceh Party in increasing the number of DPRA seats in the 2024 legislative general election in Aceh Province has been successful, although there is an unfulfilled dimension, namely the Strategy Implementation dimension which is still an obstacle in the implementation of the Aceh Party's political strategy Keywords: Political Strategy, Aceh Party, Legislative General Election ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya fenomena menurunnya perolehan kursi Partai Aceh di Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Aceh (DPRA) dalam pemilihan umum legislatif pada dua periode terakhir di Provinsi Aceh. Fenomena ini menjadi evaluasi bagi Partai Aceh pada pemilihan umum legislatif tahun 2024. Partai Aceh harus merumuskan strategi politik jitu agar dapat meningkatkan perolehan kursi di DPRA pada pemilihan umum legislatif tahun 2024. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui strategi politik yang dilakukan oleh Partai Aceh untuk meningkatkan perolehan kursi di Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Aceh (DPRA) pada pemilihan umum legislatif tahun 2024, faktor penghambat dalam pelaksanaan strategi yang dilakukan oleh Partai Aceh untuk meningkatkan perolehan kursi di Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Aceh (DPRA) pada pemilihan umum legislatif 2024 serta upaya yang dilakukan oleh Partai Aceh untuk mengatasi faktor penghambat pelaksanaan strategi. Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori perencanaan strategi politik oleh Peter Schroder. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan teknik analisis data berupa reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan strategi politik yang dirumuskan oleh Partai Aceh dalam pemilihan umum legislatif tahun 2024 di Provinsi Aceh berhasil. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan Partai Aceh kembali menjadi partai peraih kursi terbayak di Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Aceh dan berhasil meningkatkan perolehan kursi dari periode sebelumnya yaitu 18 kursi dari 81 kursi keseluruhan meningkat dua kursi pada pemilihan umum legislatif tahun 2024 menjadi 20 kursi dari 81 kursi keseluruhan di DPRA. Kesimpulan: Strategi yang dilakukan oleh Partai Aceh dalam meningkatkan perolehan kursi DPRA pada pemilihan umum legislatif tahun 2024 di Provinsi Aceh sudah berhasil, meskipun terdapat dimensi yang belum terpenuhi yaitu pada dimensi Implementasi Strategi yang masih menjadi penghambat dalam pelaksanaan strategi politik Partai Aceh.
