Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem/Background (GAP): This research is entitled "COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT OF SEAWEED PROCESSING JOINT BUSINESS GROUPS (KUBE) IN MALLARI VILLAGE, AWANGPONE DISTRICT, BONE DISTRICT". The implementation of this research was motivated by the implementation of empowerment with the aim of improving community welfare, including in terms of empowering the Seaweed Processing Joint Business Group. Furthermore, the researcher was interested in researching how empowerment was carried out by the Mallari Village Government, Awangpone District, Bone Regency for the Grass Processing Joint Business Group. Sea. Purpose: This research is intended to collect data and then analyze it to obtain results that can provide an overview of the empowerment of Seaweed Processing Joint Business Groups by the Village Government, as well as explaining what factors are obstacles. The theoretical basis that researchers use in this research is Mardikanto and Soebito's community empowerment theory. The four aspects in this theory include human development, business development, environmental development, and institutional development. Methods: The research design used in this research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. Data collection techniques use three methods, namely, interviews, observation, and documentation. The data that has been collected is analyzed starting from data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Results: The government's efforts to overcome one of the obstacles to empowerment experienced by seaweed processing joint business group actors, in this case, the lack of knowledge of technology among seaweed processing joint business group actors, is by providing education regarding understanding related to technological developments. Technology education is very important for seaweed processing businesses because technology has become an integral part of modern business. In the digital era, the presence of technology allows joint seaweed processing business groups to optimize their business management, increase operational efficiency and effectiveness, and reach more customers. Conclusion: This research was carried out in Mallari Village, Awangpone District, Bone Regency. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the empowerment of the Seaweed Processing Joint Business Group through direct guidance by the Mallari Village Government has been implemented. However, there are still inhibiting factors such as lack of infrastructure and lack of proficiency in using technology in implementing the program. Therefore, researchers provide suggestions to continue to maximize the community empowerment process by providing facilities and infrastructure, and to remain consistent in its implementation.rastructure, and to remain consistent in its implementation. ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP) : Penelitian ini berjudul “PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT KELOMPOK USAHA BERSAMA (KUBE) PENGOLAHAN RUMPUT LAUT DI DESA MALLARI KECAMATAN AWANGPONE KABUPATEN BONE”. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya pelaksanaan pemberdayaan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat termasuk dalam hal pemberdayaan Kelompok Usaha Bersama Pengolahan Rumput Laut.Selanjutnya peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti mengenai bagaimana pemberdayaan yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Desa Mallari Kecamatan Awangpone Kabupaten Bone kepada Kelompok Usaha Bersama Pengolahan Rumput Laut. Tujuan : Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengumpulkan data dan kemudian dianalisis untuk memperoleh hasil yang dapat memberikan gambaran tentang pemberdayaan Kelompok Usaha Bersama Pengolahan Rumput Laut oleh Pemerintah Desa, serta menguraikan faktor-faktor apa saja yang menjadi penghambat.Landasan teori yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori pemberdayaan masyarakat Mardikanto dan Soebito. Empat aspek dalam teori ini meliputi bina manusia, bina usaha, bina lingkungan, dan bina kelembagaan. Metode : Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tiga cara yaitu, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data-data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis mulai dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil/Temuan : Upaya pemerintah dalam mengatasi salah satu hambatan pemberdayaan yang dialami oleh para pelaku kelompok usaha bersama pengolahan rumput laut dalam hal ini, kurangnya pengetahuan akan teknologi para pelaku kelompok usaha bersama pengolahan rumput laut adalah dengan memberikan edukasi mengenai pemahaman terkait perkembangan teknologi. Pendidikan teknologi sangat penting bagi para pelaku usaha pengolahan rumput laut karena teknologi telah menjadi bagian integral dari bisnis modern. Dalam era digital, kehadiran teknologi memungkinkan pelaku kelompok usaha bersama pengolahan rumput laut untuk mengoptimalkan pengelolaan bisnis mereka, meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas operasional, dan mencapai lebih banyak pelanggan. Kesimpulan : Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Mallari Kecamatan Awangpone Kabupaten Bone.Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberdayaan Kelompok Usaha Bersama Pengolahan Rumput Laut melalui pembinaan langsung oleh Pemerintah Desa Mallari telah terlaksana. Namun, masih ada faktor penghambat seperti kurangnya sarana prasarana dan kurang mahirnya dalam menggunakan teknologi dalam pelaksanaan program tersebut. Oleh karena itu, peneliti memberikan saran untuk terus memaksimalkan proses pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan menyediakan sarana dan prasarana, serta untuk tetap terus konsisten dalam pelaksanaannya.
