Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengaruh perkembangan teknologi informasi mengharuskan penyelenggaraan urusan pemerintah lebih efisien, efektif, serta mengupayakan penggunaan kemajuan teknologi di dalamnya. Aplikasi Laporan Kegiatan Harian Kota Solok merupakan bentuk pengembangan teknologi dalam hal pelayanan di lingkup pemerintahan Kota Solok. Aplikasi ini digunakan oleh seluruh ASN di Kota Solok untuk melaporkan absensi dan juga capaian kerja harian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan usability testing terhadap para pengguna aplikasi LKH Kota Solok, untuk mengetahui seberapa mudah aplikasi digunakan dan apakah aplikasi ini digunakan secara optimal atau belum. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dengan teknik observasi partisipasi pasif dimana peneliti turun sendiri ke lapangan untuk mengamati gejala pada objek penelitian. Selain itu peneliti juga menggunakan metode Single Ease Question (SEQ) untuk memperkuat hasil penelitian terhadap pengalaman pengguna terkait aplikasi ini, karena SEQ merupakan metode yang paling sering digunakan dalam menentukan tingkat kemudahan penggunaan suatu aplikasi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa Aplikasi LKH Kota Solok dinilai sudah berhasil dan cukup optimal dalam pelayanannya. Hambatan dalam aplikasi tidak begitu mengganggu kinerja dari aplikasi ini, namun tetap harus ada pengembangan-pengembangan agar aplikasi ini lebih baik kedepannya. Saran dalam penelitian ini agar dilakukan peningkatan dan perbaikan server agar meminimalisir error saat aplikasi dibuka dan juga pengembangan tergadap fitur-fitur dari aplikasi LKH Kota Solok. Kata Kunci : Usability Testing, LKH Kota Solok, Pemerintah ABSTRACT The influence of information technology development necessitates that the administration of government affairs be more efficient, effective, and strive to incorporate technological advancements. The Solok City Daily Activity Report Application is a form of technological development in terms of service within the government scope of Solok City. This application is used by all civil servants in Solok City to report attendance and daily work achievements. The purpose of this research is to conduct usability testing on the users of the LKH Solok City application to determine how easy the application is to use and whether it is being used optimally. A qualitative research method is employed in this study by the researcher using passive participation observation techniques, where the researcher directly goes to the field to observe phenomena in the research object. Additionally, the researcher uses the Single Ease Question (SEQ) method to strengthen the research results on user experience related to this application, as SEQ is the most commonly used method in determining the ease of use of an application. The research results indicate that the LKH Solok City Application is considered successful and quite optimal in its service. Obstacles in the application do not significantly disrupt its performance, but further developments are still needed to improve the application in the future. The suggestion in this research is to enhance and upgrade the server to minimize errors when the application is opened and to develop the features of the LKH Solok City application.
