Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The author focuses on the prevalence of stunting in Central Maluku Regency which is still a regional priority problem and public knowledge about stunting prevention is not yet optimal. Purpose: The aim of this research is to know the implementation of the empowerment of the Family Welfare Empowerment Team (TP PKK) in preventing stunting by the Central Maluku Regency Government Health Service and the empowerment programs that have been realized in the community Method: This research uses qualitative research methods and analysis of the empowerment stages through Aileen Stewart's (1998) theory of community empowerment. This theory has several dimensions, namely enabling, facilitating, consulting, collaborating, mentoring, supporting. Primary data sources were obtained from interviews and observations, while secondary data were obtained from documentation. Result: The results of this research are that the Empowerment of the Family Welfare Empowerment Team (TP PKK) in Stunting Prevention by the Central Maluku Regency Government Health Service has been implemented well, measured based on six dimensions of theory. In implementing empowerment, the programs that have been implemented are the socialization of early cancer detection among women at sub-district level, the socialization of Reproductive Health among Adolescents and the Healthy Family Movement for Disaster Response and Resilience. Conclusion: The empowerment process has been implemented well but monitoring and evaluation is still being carried out so that programs to prevent stunting problems at the Central Maluku District Health Service can be optimal. Keywords: Empowerment, PKK, Stunting ABSTRAK Permasalahan (GAP): Penulis berfokus prevalensi stunting di Kabupaten Maluku Tengah masih menjadi masalah prioritas daerah serta pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pencegahan stunting belum optimal. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pemberdayaan Tim Penggerak Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (TP PKK) dalam pencegahan stunting oleh Dinas Kesehatan Pemerintah Kabupaten Maluku Tengah dan program pemberdayaan yang sudah terealisasi di masyarakat. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif serta analisis terhadap tahap pemberdayaan melalui teori Aileen Stewart (1998) tentang pemberdayaan masyarakat. Teori ini memiliki beberapa dimensi yaitu enabling (membuat mampu), facilitating (memperlancar), consulting (berkonsultasi), collaborating (bekerja sama), mentoring (membimbing), supporting (mendukung). Sumber data primer diperoleh dari wawancara dan observasi, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumentasi. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu 2 Pemberdayaan Tim Penggerak Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (TP PKK) Dalam Pencegahan Stunting Oleh Dinas Kesehatan Pemerintah Kabupaten Maluku Tengah telah terlaksana dengan baik diukur berdasarkan enam dimensi dari teori. Dalam pelaksanaan pemberdayaan, program yang telah terlaksana yaitu sosialisasi deteksi dini kanker pada Perempuan Tingkat kecamatan, sosialisasi Kesehatan Reproduksi Pada Remaja serta Gerakan Keluarga Sehat Tanggap dan Tangguh Bencana. Kesimpulan: Proses pemberdayaan telah dilaksanakan dengan baik namun tetap dilakukan pengawasan serta evaluasi agar program�program dalam pencegahan masalah stunting pada Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Maluku Tengah dapat optimal.
