Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): This thesis discusses the development of the Cocoa Processed Household Food Industry (IRTP) by the Kolaka District Industry and Trade Office. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the development of the Home Food Industry (IRTP) carried out by the Kolaka Regency Industry and Trade Office, the inhibiting factors and efforts to overcome these inhibiting factors. Method: This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out using data reduction methods, data presentation and verification or drawing conclusions. This research refers to the theory put forward by Ina Primiana about the small industry development process. Result: The results of this study are the development of processed cocoa IRTP by the Kolaka Regency Industry and Trade Office through 3 indicators namely funding, coaching and potential and managerial development. Of the three indicators, it has been running well, but there are still things that need more attention. From the development of this industry there are also several obstacles and several efforts made by the Kolaka Regency Industry and Trade Office to overcome these obstacles are also described. Conclusion: Based on the results of the author's analysis on the focus of the apprenticeship regarding the Development of Cocoa Processed Home Industry (IRTP) by the Kolaka Regency Industry and Trade Office using the Small Industry Development theory by Ina Primiana (2009) which focuses on three aspects namely Funding, Development and Potential Development and Managerial Keywords: Development, Home Food Industry, Cocoa ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Skripsi ini membahas tentang pengembangan Industri Rumah Tangga Pangan (IRTP) hasil olahan kakao oleh Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Kolaka. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengembangan Industri Rumah Tangga Pangan (IRTP) yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Kolaka, faktor penghambat dan upaya mengatasi faktor penghambat tersebut. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan metode reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini mengacu pada teori yang dikemukakan oleh Ina Primiana tentang proses pengembangan industri kecil. Hasil/Temuan: Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pengembangan IRTP olahan kakao oleh Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Kolaka melalui 3 indikator yakni pendanaan, pembinaan dan pengembangan potensi serta manajerial. Dari ketiga indikator tersebut sudah berjalan dengan baik namun masih ada yang perlu mendapat perhatian lebih. Dari pengembangan industri ini juga terdapat beberapa hambatan dan diuraikan juga beberapa upaya yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Kolaka untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil analisis penulis pada fokus magang mengenai Pengembangan Industri Rumah Tangga Pangan (IRTP) Hasil Olahan Kakao Oleh Dinas Perindustrian Dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Kolaka dengan menggunakan teori Pengembangan Industri Kecil oleh Ina Primiana (2009) yang berfokus pada tiga aspek yakni Pendanaan, Pembinaan dan Pengembangan Potensi dan Manajerial.
