Abstract
ABSTRACT Problems/Background (GAP): The author focuses on a series of activities that can analyze and describe the way the Department of Culture, Youth and Sports promotes the potential and attractiveness of the Kapuas River Waterfront City tourism. Purpose: so that researchers can analyze and describe how Disbudpora promotes potential tourist attractions, one of which is the waterfront city of the Kapuas Murung river in terms of context, communication, collaboration, and connection components. Methodology: This study uses qualitative methods and is analyzed with the theory of effective communication as a means of promotion according to Chris Heuer's 4C Theory (2010). Techniques to collect data by observation, interviews and documentation with data analysis according to triangulation of methods and data sources. Results/ Findings: The results of the study show that Instagram and Facebook Social Media Management in Kapuas District, Central Kalimantan can be said to have fulfilled the research elements according to Chris Heuer's 4C Theory (2010). However, there are still unexpected findings in the field, such as unclear status, unformed tourism structure and lack of budget for development. Conclusion: The implementation of Social Media Management is going well and there are a number of things that need to be improved and corrected.. Keywords : Waterfront City Tourism Area, Information and Social Media ABSTRAK Permasalahan/ Latar Belakang (GAP) : Penulis berfokus pada serangkaian kegiatan yang dapat menganalisis dan menggambarkan cara Dinas Kebudayaan Pemuda dan Olahraga dalam mempromosikan potensi dan daya tarik pariwisata Waterfront City Sungai Kapuas. Tujuan : agar peneliti dapat menganalisis dan menggambarkan bagaimana Disbudpora dalam mempromosikan potensi daya tarik wisata salah satunya waterfront city sungai Kapuas Murung dalam aspek Komponen context, communication, collaboration, dan connection. Metodologi : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan dianalisis dengan teori Komunikasi yang efektif sebagai sarana promosi menurut Teori 4C Chris Heuer (2010). Teknik mengumpulkan data dengan Observasi, Wawancara dan Dokumentasi dengan analisis data menurut Triangulasi Metode dan Sumber Data. Hasil/ Temuan : Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Pengelolaan Media Sosial Instagram dan Facebook Kabupaten Kapuas Kalimantan Tengah dapat dikatakan sudah memenuhi unsur penelitian menurut Teori 4C Chris Heuer (2010). Namun, masih ada temuan yang tak terduga di lapangan, seperti Status yang masih belum jelas, struktur pariwisata yang belum terbentuk dan kekurangan anggaran untuk pengembangan. Kesimpulan : Pelaksanaan Pengelolaan Media Sosial berjalan dengan cukup dan ada beberapa hal yang harus ditingkatkan serta diperbaiki.
