Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The lake tourism object is one of the iconic tourist objects in Deli Serdang but there is still a lack of attention from the government regarding the existing infrastructure. Purpose: This study aims to describe the development of the Linting Lake tourism object and to find out the inhibiting factors and efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors. Method: this research activity the authors used descriptive qualitative research methods with an inductive approach and used the theory of Tourism Development according to Spillane in Sari (2011: 27), the data sources used by the authors in this study used data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation, while the the data analysis used is based on Miles and Huberman's data analysis, namely by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Result: The results of the study show that the development of tourist objects in Lake Linting has been going well, but there are still obstacles or deficiencies such as the absence of a tourist information office, the absence of public transportation services, poorly maintained facilities and infrastructure, so that they still need attention from the local government and the Department of Culture, Youth and Sports and Tourism which oversees the Lake Linting tourist attraction in developing the tourism potential of Lake Linting such as providing data information offices, providing public transportation services to tourist attractions, carrying out maintenance and repairs to facilities and infrastructure so that Lake Linting can become superior tourist attraction in Deli Serdang Regency. Conclusion: From the results of this study, in order to maximize Lake Linting tourism the Government will improve maintenance of facilities or infrastructure, increase promotion, collaborate with the Department of Transportation to improve transportation services, and build an Information Service Headquarters so that visiting tourists can find out information about Lake Linting. Keywords: Development; Tourism Object; lake Linting ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Objek wisata danau mejadi salah satu objek wista yang menjadi ikonik di Deli Serdang tetapi masih adanya kurangnya perhatian dari pemerintah terkait insfratuktur yang ada. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengembangan Objek wisata Danau Linting dan untuk mengetahui faktor penghambat serta upaya untuk mengatasi faktor penghambatnya. Metode: Dalam kegiatan penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan induktif serta menggunakan teori Pengembangan Pariwisata menurut Spillane dalam sari (2011:27), sumber data yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan berdasarkan analisis data Miles dan Huberman yaitu dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengembangan objek wisata di Danau Linting sudah berjalan dengan baik, namun masih ada hambatan atau kekurangan seperti tidak adanya kantor informasi wisata, belum adanya pelayanan trasnsportasi umum, sarana dan prasarana serta infrastruktur yang kurang terpelihara, sehingga masih butuh perhatian dari Pemerintah daerah dan Dinas Kebudayaan, Pemuda dan Olahraga serta Pariwisata yang menaungi objek wisata Danau Linting dalam pengembangan potensi wisata Danau Linting seperti menyediakan kantor informasi data, penyediaan layanan transportasi umum menuju objek wisata, melakukan pemeliharaan dan perbaikan terhadap sarana dan prasarana serta infrastruktur agar Danau Linting dapat menjadi objek wisata yang unggul di Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Kesimpulan: Dari hasil penelitian ini, untuk memaksimalkan pariwisata Danau Linting Pemerintah untuk meningkatkan pemeliharaan terhadap fasilitas atau infrastruktur, meningkatkan promosi, melakukan kerja sama dengan Dinas Perhubungan untuk peningkatan pelayanan transportasi, dan Membangun Kantor Pusat pelayanan Informasi agar wisatawan yang berkunjung dapat mengetahui informasi tentang Danau Linting Kata Kunci : Pengembangan; Objek Wisata; Danau Linting.
